a space to record my thoughts and discoveries in the greatest adventure in life: the adventure of becoming more like Christ. I summarize this adventure with the phrases: Loving God, Loving People and Living Surrendered.
Our true authentic self is being unraveled as we grow and learn in Christ. We can't "be" what we haven't discovered yet. We can only be as authentic as far as we have journeyed in our faith with Christ. We our leaving our old "self" behind, and discovering our new, authentic life in Christ each time we step out in obedience to Christ and His calling on our life. If we come to Him as little children, I think we are truly getting closer to the authenticity you are talking about. Living, laughing, and loving, and serving unhindered.
I find this post to have great meaning.
